Deyr Umbrella is dedicated to empowering the historic Dervish youth and the young leaders of the SSC (Sool, Sanaag, and Cayn) regions, fostering a new generation of resilient, community‑driven change‑makers.

Our programs focus on leadership training, cultural heritage preservation, civic engagement, and economic empowerment tailored to the unique challenges and aspirations of youth in northeastern Somalia.

Formation & Mobilization

Local youth leaders in Sool, Sanaag, and Togdheer formed a unified representative platform to advocate for youth representation, education, and development.

2023
SSC Youth Convention

Organized the landmark youth convention in Lasanod, bringing together young voices from across the regions to discuss civic engagement, leadership, and regional rehabilitation.
