Dervish Youth Representative Umbrella (DEYR) works in partnership with local and regional government institutions to support good governance through structured coordination, youth consultation, and technical engagement. DEYR facilitates youth representation in policy discussions, supports community–government dialogue, and contributes to planning, consultation, and accountability processes that strengthen responsive and inclusive public institutions.
Peacebuilding, Dialogue & Community Stabilization
DEYR implements practical peacebuilding initiatives that support social cohesion and local stability. Working alongside government authorities, elders, and community leaders, DEYR facilitates dialogue forums, conflict-prevention discussions, and youth engagement activities that address grievances, reduce tensions, and promote peaceful coexistence at community level.
Youth Civic Engagement & Public Participation
DEYR strengthens youth civic engagement by supporting civic education, leadership development, and structured participation in public decision-making. Through awareness sessions, forums, and advocacy support, young people are encouraged to engage constructively with government institutions, understand their civic responsibilities, and contribute positively to governance and peacebuilding processes.
